Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

Alright, Cancer, listen up. The First Quarter moon is currently 7.1 days old, which we all know is the space equivalent of a teenager - unpredictable, prone to mood swings, and still figuring out who they are. So, grab your cosmic surfboard because we're about to ride some celestial waves. The universe has a message for you, my dear crustacean: You're not just a creature of the deep, you're also a creature of the stars. But don't get too starry-eyed just yet, or you might trip over a black hole. You see, Cancer, you've got that soft shell exterior, but underneath, you've got a heart as big as Jupiter and a will as strong as a pulsar. But you tend to orbit around your problems instead of tackling them head-on like a rogue asteroid. This week, it’s time to drop the gravitational pull of worry and launch into the nebula of new possibilities. Your emotional senses, sharper than Spock's ears, might lead you to believe that everyone else is an alien species. Remember, we're all just stardust, so kick back, enjoy the cosmic soup, and stop trying to decode every single Klingon phrase that comes your way. And oh, keep your telescopes peeled for unexpected satellites (or opportunities) in your airspace. You never know what might come hurtling your way from the Oort Cloud. Might be a comet, might be a space potato, either way, it's bound to be interesting. So, in summary: Surf the cosmic waves, tackle your asteroid-sized problems, and remember, we're all just stardust. Life's too short to worry about every little meteor shower. #CrabNebulaVibes #StardustSoul #CosmicCrustacean #BattlestarCancerGalactica
