Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

The Waxing Crescent moon is currently 4.4 days old. The next new moon is at 9:27:15, 13 Nov 2023. The next full moon is at 9:16:41, 27 Nov 2023.

Oh, Cancer, my dear sweet crabby friend, I see you've got your pincers in a twist! Don’t you know the universe has a sense of humor? Right now, our lovely lady Luna is a Waxing Crescent, 4.4 days old, and looking as radiant as a newly regenerated Time Lord. Now, hold onto your shell, because this phase of the moon is all about intention setting. It's like when the TARDIS decides she'd rather be a 1960s police box than, say, a banana stand. She's got her intentions set, but she's also open to change. And you, my friend, are being asked to do the same. Set your intentions, but don't forget that sometimes, the journey is the destination. Expect a few plot twists this week, Cancers. Think of them as mini time-travel adventures. They won't always make sense, but hey, since when has that ever stopped us? Remember, even when things seem wibbly-wobbly, keep your head up and your heart open. After all, you never know when you might bump into a handsome stranger with a mysterious blue box. So, my advice to you: Embrace the chaos, go with the flow and maybe, just maybe, leave the sonic screwdriver at home. You won't need it where you're going. #CrabLife #WaxingCrescentVibes #TimeyWimeyStuff #WhoNeedsASonicScrewdriver
