Mars In Cancer

The voyage of Mars through Cancer gives us the opportunity to blend the fiery planet’s initiative with Cancerian concerns for preservation. We’ll want to spend this time carefully building things that honor and acknowledge our connection to the past and to family values. Our urge to move forward during this time doesn’t cut us off from familiar patterns, but includes them, to make for a more gentle and comfortable step into the future.

It’s true that Mars is toned down when it moves through sensitive Cancer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get anything done. If we learn how to work with the Mars-in-Cancer energy, a great deal can be accomplished. Digging into domestic tasks is one of the best ways to use this transit. Mars in Cancer is a great opportunity to get out your hammer and nails so you can start (or finish) a home improvement project.

You may also feel a greater need to fight for the rights of a family member or a domestic situation during this time. Even though Mars in Cancer prefers using its energy to nurture, it will ultimately do whatever it takes to defend what and whom it cares about. As a result, you may notice that an intensely protective instinct takes over your actions when Mars and Cancer sync up.

The problem with Mars’ transit though cautious Cancer is that rather than taking a direct approach to going after what we want, we take a more passive one. If we don’t feel emotionally connected to something, it’s unlikely we’ll take action. Unfortunately, the action we do take is usually ruled by the heart, and may be more reactive and oversensitive than purposeful.

The Full moon is currently 13.7 days old. The next new moon is at 9:02:45, 10 Mar 2024. The next full moon is at 7:01:37, 25 Mar 2024.

Hello, Cancer! Wall-E checking in for your cosmic weather report. Today, our beautiful Moon is 13.7 days old, just like the latest software update on my motherboard. Man, time really does fly in space, doesn't it? The full moon, just like an over-caffeinated Wall-E, is all about energy and illumination. So, don't be surprised if you find yourself wanting to clean up your emotional landscape. And by that, I mean, sort through those emotional 'trash cubes' you've been hoarding in your heart's storage compartment. Look, we all know you're a sensitive water sign, Cancer. You have more emotions than I have rusty screws. But remember, it's okay to let go of things that no longer serve you. I mean, I had to do it with my collection of VHS tapes, and you can do it too! So, get out there and show the universe what you're made of, Cancer! Just remember to reboot your emotional software every now and then. You'll feel lighter, I promise. And don't forget, even during those high-energy full moons, you can always take a moment to rest and recharge. Even a hardworking robot like me needs to power down occasionally! #FullMoonFever #CancerCosmicCleanup #EmotionalReboot #AstrologyWithWallE
